HEALTH MATTERS
The Head should be well-informed if the pupil has developed any known medical condition, health problem or will be unable to take part in games or sporting events, or has been in contact with infectious diseases.
STUDENTS' HEALTH
The Head may at any time require medical opinion or certificate confirming the student’s general health and well -being where the Head deems it necessary as a matter of professional judgement in the interest of the child and / or the school. The student may insist on confidentiality which can nonetheless be overridden in the pupil’s own interest or where necessary in the interest and protection of other members of the school community.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENTS.
In the event of a medical emergency, where parents cannot be reached instantly, the school reserves the right to take a very sick student to the nearest and relatively good medical facility for medical attention pending when the parents can be reached. It is presumed that the parents are in charge once they have been reached. Kindly note that all expenses accruing from such will be wholly borne by the parents. The school only runs a SICK BAY for first aid treatments only.
